Here are the photos of our carnival… Each section had its theme: for the younger it was spring, for the medium it was circus and especielly clowns… and we have chosen “Little Red Riding Hood”. We have made our own disguises.

We are celebrating our annual seasonal fest – Shrovetide. We are wearing handmade paper hats and head masks. We also have a funny tradition and as you can see that – the boys are wearing girl clothes and the girls – boy clothes. Shrovetide is the last fest in winter when we wear masks. [...]

Traditionally, schools from Porto de Mós participate in a Carnival Parade that passes through the main streets. This year the theme of our Kindergarten was “The water”. We always celebrate our carnival feast with children and their parents, grand parents, friends and many other guests. The feast starts in the evening, it´s a party with dances, matches, games, food and drinks and a magic show for all children.
